THE PROCESS

Abisha Designs, has over 10 years industry experience in Graphic & Web-Design. These days a business without a web presence is almost unheard of.  However, simply uploading a web logo to a one page front page website is going to do your business more harm than good.

Effective websites combine clean, easy interfaces, usability and scalability with targeted text and content which is really how search engines such as Google and Yahoo determine what exactly your website is about.

There are many factors to consider when putting a website together. Probably the best initial research is to look how your competitors are getting there information and products across via the web. When you have a good idea how you would like to see your website Abisha can then present you with some different options for functionality. For instance do you want to be able to update the website regularly with news and offers? Do you want a website that acts as a brochure or showroom for your business?

Different factors are going to mean different levels of back end bespoke coding. So it's well worth asking us about the most cost effective ways of doing things. The first thing to check is for a suitable domain name. Try to choose something that has the nature of the business within the domain name e.g. www.abishadesigns.co.za.

Once a web design campaign has been undertaken we would initially provide static jpg visuals of the proposed website design before any major coding and navigation takes place. This is to ensure you are happy with the look from the initial stages as tweaks and updates further down the line may prove prohibitive. Depending on the complexity of the work involved we sometimes provide log ins to check at your own convenience the state of the build as we are working. Once a website design is complete and uploaded to the web we can if needed offer a maintenance service to make sure your website is always operational or we can provide a service to register with the search engines and directories which is going to benefit the business enormously.
